A good way to ensure that your doors are held open and secured is by adding a hook and eye latch to the outside of the Log Cabin.
We never recommend for the doors to be left open to swing freely as this can cause significant stress on the door and can end with the door being damaged if caught by the wind. The doors can also be one of the most expensive parts if replacements are needed.
A hook and eye latch, is something easily sourced locally and can be attached to any of our cabins, it's a great way to prevent any possible damage from your doors catching the wind. However, if the weather is windy we would not recommend to purley rely on the hook and eye, in this weather, the doors should be locked in a closed position.
If you are using a hook and eye, the movement of the doors should still be monitored.
