It is not possible to give a 100% accurate amount of shingle glue that is recommended. It ranges from 2 to 5 tubes depending on roof size.
Usually an average apex roof of 3m x 3m will take about two tubes including the ridge. Therefore a 6m x 6m four tubes can be expected. This is applying a dot in each corner of the shingle.
For very exposed areas such as the highland and coast then we would recommend glueing each edge of the tile, this would result in double the amount being required.
