Fix Foundation Beams to Base

What you can do in some situations is fix your foundation beams to your base as well as fixing the first logs atop the foundation beams.

Otherwise, when laying the first logs of your Log cabin on top of the foundation beams it is suggested that you screw them down for extra strength at this early stage of the build.

If you do fix the foundation beams to the base, we always suggest countersinking prior to sending the fixings through so the head doesn't foul the logs that will need to sit on top and to even infill the fixing head so that water cannot then ever sit static inside
